Got Good Grades

Bella was so excited that she bounced off the walls while running home. She got A + on her math test, A + on her spelling test, and A + on her science test. When Bella got home, she went straight to her mom's room. "Woah, what's the craziness about? Bella's mom wondered. Bella showed her mom her grades. "Wow, I'm very proud of you, for your reward, you will get a dog!" Her mom said.

Adopting a dog

Bella and her family went to the dog adoption center to adopt a dog. "Hello there," a kind lady said. "Hello! We would like to adopt a dog," Bella's mom replied. "Of course! Follow me," She added. Bella saw lots of dogs that needed to be adopted. But there was one problem, which dog is perfect for her? "It's ok, little one, all of the dogs, here, are kind and won't bite," She smiled at Bella.

Too crazy, too scared, too mean

There were too many dogs to see, so Bella had to go one by one. The first one was really crazy to see Bella. Bella didn't want a dog that lost their marbles. The next one was very shy, so Bella was as gentle as a lamb, but the dog didn't look at her. The last dog was really grumpy. She was up in arms at Bella when she tried to touch her. But... The one and only dog, who was grinning from ear to ear.

 The perfect one

The dog who was grinning ear to ear, looks just as Bella imagined. She wanted to adopt it. Bella pointed at the dog, "Ok, little one, I'll get you this dog," the lady smiled. The lady grabbed the cage and went to the checkout. The total was $14.98 for the pup, now, they had to buy dog supplies for the puppy too. "Ok sweetie, we have to buy dog stuff now," Bella's mom said to Bella. Bella nodded.
