James' Big Day

7 am, it was time to get up for school. James had to get up at dawn because he had his prom. "I think you will do well," I said to him. "Thanks, sister, I hope so too," James smiled. We both went down for breakfast. "Hey Mila, hey James, are you nervous?" Mom questioned. "Kind of," James said. We ate breakfast and we got on the school bus.

Off to High school

We rode on the bus to get to our school. James went to his desk and put his stuff down. A girl came late, so the teacher said, "Ahem, Zoey, you are late. Write "I will not be late" 50 times." "Ok," Zoey sighed. Then, the announcement went on. "Oh good lord, what is it this time?" Mr. Stonevill complained.

School Announcement

The announcement said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we will be hosting a prom today at noon. Please pick your partner before then, thank you." "Well students I guess we are going," Mr. Stonevill sighed. "Yes!" The students yelled. At 11:49 am, the teacher said, "OK class, please pick your partners now." James heard people blah blah blah about their partners, then....

Kayla is perfect

"Hey you," Kayla said. "Oh, hi, would you like to be my date to prom" James questioned. "Sure," Kayla smiled. They practiced till it was time. James and his partner waited for other classes to come. The principal told the rules: 1. Don't abandon your partner. 2. No kissing!!! 3. Dance and enjoy the food. Yep, easy enough but it's only 11:59 am (It starts exactly.)
