She packed her stuff with a few water bottles and made sure she had all her essentials. She stopped by her friend's house to head to the dark forest with her friend.

Few hours passed by as she was exploring the massive forest. Then, the sun was going down so she decided to go back home and also make sure her friend reaches home safely. All of the sudden, she couldn't find her way to get out of the forest! A few minutes passed, she realised that she is lost! As she walked in panic, she saw a funky tree with a glow coming out of it.

She walked towards it in wonder, wanting to know what's causing the glow coming from the tree. She tried shaking the tree, thinking something would fall out of it. But it didn't work! Then, she tried digging around the tree, with a shovel she saw near by. But that didn't work either! Until she tried climbing the tree. All she saw was apples, but realised the glow was getting closer and closer. She followed the glow and then she saw a red, glowy button that shined in the distance.

Then, she grabbed the button carefully and climbed back down. Salish put it under the tree in a safe place and decided to relax under the tree since she was exhausted. A few moments later, she saw in shock that the button turned into a giant, glittery portal. But she realised that her friend is not there! She had no internet in her phone to call her friend and asked if she reached her house safely. Salish was worried what happened to her friend. She thought of crazy things that could have happened to her friend! Such as, she got eaten by a fierce, hungry grizzly bear! But she also remembered that her friend's dad is a detective so she could've found her way back and tried calling Salish to come but Salish didn't hear her.

She decided to jump into to portal and take the risk. Salish didn't even know where the portal would take her. It might even take her to a whole new country! She closed her eyes and jumped into the portal as she hoped for the best to happen. Suddenly, she saw herself in her cozy room and then, she went over to her friend's house and asked her parents if Lily safely reached home. Her parents said yes and Salish then asked if she can talk to Lily. Lily burst out of her room and came to the front door.

She hugged Salish and was happy that Salish made it home safely. They all came over to Salish's house for tea and they all lived happily ever after.
