The Runaway Apple

One Sunday morning, Farmer Albert went out to his orchard to pick some apples. He and his wife Alice loved apples. His orchard was beautiful and full of apples but he also had other trees.







The orchard had apple trees, lemon trees and orange trees. Albert already had 30 red apples, 20 yellow lemons and 40 orange oranges. He only needed 23 apples, for he was going to make pie.

































While he was picking, he saw a perfect apple! It was red, shiny and bigger than the others.








But something bad happened, the apple fell and rolled away...


...across the garden,






...across the road,




...across Madison River,


...past the school,
