Do you want to have a rabbit? If you are reading this book, you probably want one. It is a fun but hard thing to have a rabbit. 

First of all, look for a healthy one at the pet store. A full coat of fur and clear, bright eyes show a healthy rabbit.

If the rabbit hops right up to you with ears facing forward, he is curious and friendly. It's okay if the rabbit doesn't do this. He might be sleepy or just uninterested. 

    A dwarf rabbit, like this one, might be timid and shy because he's much smaller than most rabbits.  

A bigger one is kind if you are gentle and patient, but he might still think he's the boss. 

    At the pet store, please don't tap on the glass. This scares the animals. 

    Let's learn about our rabbit. At my house, I have three rabbits. Rabbits are probably happier outside but there are more dangers out there. I have a small rabbit named Penny, an 0k sized rabbit named Spaz, and my very big rabbit, Everest. 

    What I do for their meals is give them kale and either celery or carrots in the morning. Do not give them onions or tomatoes. Give them a cup of hay nuggets or pellets every night.
