In the town of Franklin Park, IL, a special event called Javaccino brought joy to everyone. But, what exactly is JAVACCINO? 

It was a student-operated coffee bar run by Pastry & Cuisine Chef students.

Excitement filled East Leyden High School as students got the chance to plan and operate Javaccino. This event would give them real-life skills for their future careers.

Pastry & Cuisine Chef students worked together to create a delightful menu for Javaccino. From pastries to delicious cuisines, they were ready to make taste buds dance.

As the event day neared, classrooms turned into busy kitchens. Students, wearing chef hats and aprons, prepared a variety of Javaccino products, filling the air with tempting smells.

The pastry class made rich pastries, while the cuisine class created savory menu items. The collaboration between the two classes created a fantastic experience for all.

As Javaccino day approached, the students practiced excellent customer service. They learned to multitask and work as a team, ensuring every customer left with a smile.
