You kids will stay home alone this week!!!
Yay!!! I can't wait!!!

Catherine McGill was born in 2009 in a rich family. She is a spoiled 17-year-old girl, who got everything she wanted without doing anything. She had a 9-year-old sister, whose name was Katelyn, a dog named Loui, and loving parents. She went to Grapevine Academy, which was the most expensive private school in the world. One Friday evening, Catherine noticed her parents had put their suitcases in front of the door. "Hmm," she thought to herself, "What are they up to?" Catherine didn't like being left home alone with her sister and dog, because she hated having to take care of them. Catherine walked up to her parents and asked them to tell her what they were about to do. Then her dad surprised her with something "You kids will stay home alone this week!!" "What???" Catherine shouted in anger. "Yay!!! I can't wait!!!" Katelyn said with excitement at the same time. Little did Catherine know that her parents had been planning this vacation for weeks. They wanted Catherine to be more independent as she was getting everything done from them. They planned to leave her with nothing at home so she could learn to take care of herself and others. "This is a perfect opportunity for you to be independent," her mother said. With that, they left.

Good luck with the losers!
Thanks, I guess?
Catherine let out a sigh. She knew she was in for a rough week. "Well... it's almost time for dinner. I'll make you something to eat," said Catherine. "Can we have noodles?" asked Katelyn. "Sure," replied Catherine sadly, knowing that she couldn't relax and watch her phone until the food was ready. Loui barked, as he was hungry too. Catherine opened the cabinets to get some food, but to her surprise, the cabinet was empty! Instead, she found a note that said, "Hey Cathy! There's no food in the house. You will have to go buy some! Love, Mom." Catherine groaned. She realized that she would have to do EVERYTHING herself. "Come on Kate. We're going to get groceries. Grab Loui too" she called out to her sister. Five minutes later, the 3 were in the city. They bumped into some of Catherine's friends. "Hey Cath," her friend Angela said, "What's up?" "Can you believe it?" Catherine said, "My parents left me home alone for the week with THEM." "Good luck with the losers," Victoria said. "Thanks, I guess?" replied Catherine. They had a conversation and then Catherine's friends were leaving. "Bye!" yelled Katelyn. They ignored her. Catherine suddenly remembered they could order pizza, so that's what they did.

What???
Get ready!!!
Catherine woke up refreshed the next day. She thought she could take care of herself and her sister and dog without doing any work. She got up and went to brush her teeth and get ready. She then went to check on her sister. "Ok," Katelyn said in her sleep. Catherine was glad she was still asleep. That meant that she could do whatever she wanted to. Loui was already downstairs. He got excited to see Catherine. He had been starving since the previous day's lunch. Catherine slapped herself in the face. "I can't believe I forgot to buy you food!" she said. She ran upstairs and woke up her sister. "What?" she demanded blinking sleepily. "We have to go to the store! Hurry up and get ready!" Catherine yelled angrily. Katelyn slowly walked to her bathroom door and slammed the door shut. "Catherine is so rude sometimes," she thought to herself. Catherine walked downstairs and sat on the couch. She decided to watch TV. Thirty minutes later, Katelyn came downstairs. "THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!" she shouted, "IF YOU WEREN'T LAZY YESTERDAY, WE WOULD'VE HAD FOOD TODAY!!" Katelyn instantly broke into tears. After a few minutes of this, Catherine marched out of the door with Loui in anger. Katelyn followed.

It's your bedtime!
Ok!
Katelyn followed her sister to the store. They grabbed everything they needed, paid for it, and went home. For the rest of the day, they ate food, watched their screens, and played with Loui. They did the same thing on Sunday. Both girls didn't clean up after themselves. Every day, they would leave their clothes on the ground and never pick them up. They were both used to their maid picking up after them. "Hey," Catherine said to Katelyn, "Where did our maid go?" She had noticed that their maid did not come to pick up their clothes. "I overheard Mom and Dad saying that they told the maid to not show up for a week," Katelyn replied. Catherine groaned. She knew she had to clean up eventually. "Maybe I'll hire one myself," she thought to herself. Catherine knew that would make her parents mad, so she dropped her idea. Catherine suddenly remembered that it was Sunday. "Tomorrow's school," she thought. She glanced at the clock. It said 9:30, which was Katelyn's bedtime. She took Katelyn upstairs and told her she would have to wake up at the same time as her. Catherine went downstairs and watched TV for two hours. She then went upstairs and went to sleep, thinking about seeing her parents again.

Lunchtime...
How about we go to the movies?
Sure!
The following morning, Catherine woke up at 7:00. Her school would start at 8:00. She got ready and found Katelyn ready downstairs. "You're already ready?" Catherine questioned. "Yes!" replied Katelyn. The two girls ate their food and walked to school. They both met their friends. "Hey!" Angela said. "Hi, cried Catherine, "What's up?" "Nothing much," replied Victoria. The three walked into their school. They sat in their homeroom class, chatting. Once school started, they got serious. Catherine rushed through the periods. First was math, then science, art, and cooking class. Catherine was so glad that it was finally lunch. She dashed to the cafeteria and met up with her friends. They ate their lunches and went outside. "Let's do something fun tomorrow night," Angela suggested. "Yeah. Can we come to your house Cath?" asked Victoria. "My house is a complete mess. How about we go to the movies?" replied Catherine. "Sure," Angela said. "DON'T bring your sister," Victoria added. "Ok," Catherine replied. The rest of the day seemed to fly by. It felt great to finally go home. Her sister wasn't home as it was only 2:30. There was still an hour of her school left.

Meanwhile...

School is done early today!
It's so awesome!
Catherine wasn't very correct. Katelyn's school finished early. "I'm so happy school is done early today!" Katelyn exclaimed. "It's so awesome! I was getting so bored," said Natasha. "Yeah. I hope they change this into the permanent dismissal time!" Vanessa commented. Katelyn said bye to her friends and walked home. She arrived home at 2:35. "I'm home!" she called out. "WHAT?" Catherine hollered, "Why are you here?" "School ended early," Katelyn responded. Catherine groaned. Her mood was horrible for the rest of the day. The next day, the girls rushed to school. Seven hours later, they were back home. This was when Catherine broke the news "I'm going to the movies with my friends tonight," Catherine informed her sister. "What?" said Katelyn, "It's our movie night tonight though!" "Well, I have to go. They are my friends. I even got you a babysitter." "No!" cried Katelyn. She ran into her room and didn't come out until the babysitter came. Her name was Emily. "Your house is so nasty," she told Katelyn. "YOU SHOULDN'T BE TALKING! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!" Katlyn hollered back. "WHO SAID I'LL PAY? GET OVER HERE!11" Emily shouted back. Katelyn screamed and ran. She knew she was in big trouble.
