Dear Maria,
After looking over and considering on sending this message to people, I decided on you. I have a proposition for you. Even better, I have a job for you. You'll get a lot of money. Better, you'll get shinys along the way. Come to the town known as, Todomor.
Sincerely, -Smori Stitch

Chapter one:
The dome
---------------------------------------------------
With my eyes closed I listened to the birds chirping, Their wings flapping as they flew off to freedom and better opportunities in their life. I opened up my eyes realizing that I was still on the cart.
I looked around and at my surroundings. I just remembered that there were people on the cart. I tried to put my mind back to reality while briefly shaking my head.
I looked out of the cart, and saw there was another person out there. One thing, I didn't know any of their
names......or I do know their names and I just don't remember...many people told me that I am forgetful at times.
"Now, I think it is time to tell you my name," A voice said. I looked sideways and saw one of these people on the journey.
He was a bugbear, with brown fur, he was short with normal sized hands that were dragging on the ground as he walked, and if you need evidence just look at his bloody knuckles.
The bugbear spoke again.
"My name is Shrimp. call me Shrimp, nice to meet all of you," the brown bugbear said.
I could feel my fire ferret, whose name was Wolftar, chattering on top of my head as it was curled up there, sleeping. I could feel his rhythmic breathing, it made me think of a melody of some kind.
"How about you? You look like a wizard or something." Shrimp asked, looking like a wizard.
"Ah, yes, my young friend. I am a Wizard, you are correct about that. You can call me Salazar. I love lightning," he said in an accent. I watched as they were talking with each other for a little bit, but I didn't know what they were really saying because my brain went elsewhere and started thinking about stuff.
I snapped back, paying attention once again when I realized someone was talking to me.
"So, you're a Dragonborn, yes?" Shrimp was asking. "what's you name?"
Okay, okay, let's back up for a moment. Let me explain myself before I tell a random person about me.
My name is Maria, nice to meet all of you nice readers. Now, I am what people would call a Dragonborn. But don't worry! I'm nice, so you don't have to fear killing people or ripping their throats out or anything about that...well hopefully, we'll see.
I am a dragon but humanoid, basically. And no, I don't have wings, in case if you're wondering, I had many people ask me in the past, so let me stop you right there before you ask yourself, okay?
I am a bronze dragon, who are good, so there are
no worries there. I have purple eyes which don't find weird. I have come a away from here, in some mountains.
So, um, my story is that I was traveling with a group of travellers, but they left and abandoned me.
Oh, yeah, before we get to the story again, I'm a gambler I love to gamble. I also have a fire ferret called Wolftar, but people instead call him Walter.
I am a free spirit, very adventurous, and as you read about me, you may find me very weird, like how I like to find things that are shiny and keep them. I call them Shinys, they are my favorite thing, besides gambling of course.
Let's get back, now I've explained everything.
"My name is Maria," I replied.
"Nice to meet you."
"How about?" I asked, looking sideways at another person. I saw that they were a Tiefling, with dark purple skin and dark blue eyes, she also had horns coming out of her head.
"I'm Arethina," they replied.
"How did you come along?"
"oh. Well, there was a drunken dwarf who received the letter first, then gave it to me, because he didn't think he could complete the mission," she said.
I squinted my eyes at her. Trying to think, because it didn't make any sense.
"Are you telling the truth?" I asked.
"Yes," she answered.
"Well, I believe it," Shrimp said in a huge laugh. I just smiled a little, feeling a little doubt but I decided to believe it nonetheless.
"hey, Smori, why are we on this quest anyway?" the wizard asked.
I looked over to see the one who sent us all to do this mission.
A talking calico cat.
"Hello, everyone, I'm smori Stitch. As you know, I've sent you messages. You're on the quest to find my Mother."
"Your Mother?"
"Yeah. I lost her for when I was a kitten."
"wait, so you lost your Mother when you were a kitten? And we're going to find her?" Arethina asked.
"Nope. Lost her about ten days ago."
"Ten?"
"Yeah. I stopped being a kitten ten days ago that's why," Smori said.
Arethina looked very confused. I was confused. Everyone in the cart was confused. Before I could say anything, Smori meowed very loudly,
"Look, a town!"
I looked over and saw that there was a town. The horse up front pulled us towards. I soon found out that the horse, whose name was Miracle Mchorse, was a horse given to us as a present from Poseidon himself.
Time had passed, and we had eventually reached the town. We had all got off, and went into the town.
Salazar went to the feed store, while both Shrimp and Arethina went to the general store to buy all the basic supplies for the journey like food and water. And I went to the tavern that I spotted.
I looked at the sky as I was making my way over and saw that it was a very bright day out, and that it wouldn't be bad at all.
I was curious on what I would find around this town, so I actually went to the back of the tavern thinking that I would find someone I could gamble with.
I didn't see anyone except for one guy.
"Hey, you. Do you want to find the treasure?" the guy asked. Which I found a little weird but I was totally sucked in once he said the word Treasure.
"Yeeesssss," I said in a whisper excitedly as I nodded my head quickly.
"Okay? Then just dig the hole that has the red ex on it, okay?"
"Yay!" I squealed as soon as I spotted the red marking on the floor.
First, I made sure if he wasn't lying and if this was a trap, then when I found out he was telling the truth, I walked up to the hole. I started to dig it up excitedly with my hands.
It took about a half an hour (thirty minutes), but I
Finally got it. I picked up the treasure from the deep hole and I examined it. I saw that it was a silver Chalice.
"Shiny, Shiny! I've got a Shiny!" I shrieked happily in a sing-song voice. I turned around to thank the guy for giving me the wonderful present, but he vanished.
I didn't care, I was just happy. I was humming, carrying the Chalice close to my chest as I made my way to the front of the Tavern.
When I got to the front I saw Shrimp.
"Oh, hey, Maria!" he said. "What have you got?"
"I've got a Chalice. It's Shiny," I said. The I snapped both protectively and quickly, "but you can't have it!"
"That's fine. You've found it. That's fair enough," he said, nodding his head.
