“COLE IN MRS ZIMMERMANS CLASS PLEASE COME TO THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE.”
I jumped out of my seat wondering why the principal had called me to the office, had I done something wrong, or had I left something behind, my stomach was filled with butterflies. I slowly walked toward the principal’s office in fear. The principal then exclaimed,” Congratulations on going to the grasslands!” It was that moment when I remembered that recently I bought a ticket for a chance to tour the grasslands of Africa, a helicopter came in front of the school with a young man and a little girl, the principal then told me to take the helicopter. The man inside the helicopter then told me, “Lucky you, coming to the grasslands at this time of year, during the dry season grasslands are usually 50 to 68°F so you will be experiencing some nice weather,” I was thrilled,” Oh! Pardon me for the little girl this is my daughter, Abigail, she’s a beauty isn’t she?” Elijah started the helicopter and we started flying to the African grasslands.”
My parents would always tell me how amazing the grasslands are they always tell me it's full of diverse creatures which is why I am very excited about this trip. They said they had snakes, lions, gazelles, and best of them all LEOPARDS! Abigail then came over to me and I started playing with her,” Hehehehehe!” she giggled. I turned over and looked at Elijah, he was reticent and stressed. I asked,” Mr.Elijah are you okay?”
“I'm fine,” he said,” There is just a small opening in the jet fuel holder.”
“ Wait…doesn’t that mean we might crash.”
“What? No, we are just fi” SCREECH!“Cole brace yourself!”BOOOOM! “Cole, are you alright?
“I-I’m fine and Abigail is fine too”
“Oh thank the lord”
“So now what?”
