It was Halloween, and every kid in the 

neighborhood was out and about trick or 

treating. There was a group of three friends 

that decided to go together as pirates. They 

were going from house to house to get candy. 

The three pirates began their trick or treating, 

going to house by house as fast as they could. 

Soon, their bags were beginning to get heavy 

from all the candy inside it. They decided to 

go back and leave their candy in Emily's 

house, the female pirate's territory. 

Careful! There's a 

gradient ahead.

Don't worry 

too much.

"We're almost there." Emily notified the gang 

of pirates. 

"Well, I'm going to run over there." said Pedro, 

the pirate with a fake sword. 

"Careful! There's a gradient ahead." warned 

Emily. 

"Don't worry too much." said Pablo, the pirate 

with a parrot on his shoulder.

Oh no!

Aaaa!!!!!

Pedro ran ahead, and noticed the house was a few meters 

ahead. But, Pedro was running too fast downhill and fell to 

the ground which led to a scraped knee. 

"Aaaaaa!" screamed Pedro as he fell to the ground.

Emily and Pablo who were a little ahead heard the scream 

and walked faster to find Pedro on the floor. Emily gasped 

and said, "Oh no!" while Pablo ran up to Pedro.  

Pedro fell 

outside!

Go and bring 

him in!
