This book is dedicated to the stray cats out there that were abandoned by their owners. I wish those poor cats would have a nice, cozy home to live in.

One day, Ginger — a stray cat went out from her shabby home

to find mice to catch. 

Suddenly a mouse ran out from the sewer beside an old lady’s house. 

... Ginger dashed to catch it. 

While the mouse was eating a  chunk of spoiled cheese, Ginger hid under a car and leaped to capture the mouse. The mouse noticed Ginger and raced towards the dirty, filthy pipes. 

Ginger was disappointed. 

She rested in a butcher’s 

stall and saw a small

chunk of fish on the ground. 

"Mmm, that fish looks and 

smells yummy. I’m starving," 

Ginger said. 

She took the fish home 

and kept it under a 

hollow log. 

She went back out for another mouse hunt and found a weak, little mouse in the middle of the road. 

"Oh, you poor little fella! Your mom must be worried about you", sighed Ginger. 

"Let’s just play catch once you feel better." 

She helped the little mouse get back towards the pipes. 

On her way back home, she found a slice of bread by the sidewalk.

She quickly brought it home, ate it, and took a nap. 

When she woke up, she saw a dog digging a hole in her house. "Get out of my house!" Ginger hissed. 

"Oh, I'm sorry, I just happened to kick my bone in here by accident and shove it into a hole." The dog said politely. 

"Ok then, just dig it out and get out of my house. And please do fill up the hole." Ginger said. When the dog left Ginger decided to find her friend, Grey.
