There was once a boat that was very special to an
old man that owned it he always would get up and
make it shine by sweeping the dirt and washing it
every day he would always sail away with it to
wherever he wanted to go even if it was just a mile
away.People always laughed at him if he took the
boat somewhere he could just walk to but he never took
any notice.

one day when the sun was shining and the sea was
calm lots of the old man's friends came and told
him that the children where on there summer
holiday and wanted to go on holiday to a little
island that they could see but couldn't see clearly
all they could see was the trees and the sand that
sparkles at night."they have always wanted to go
there but we just say that it is to far away but they
wouldn't stop asking so we promised them that we
would take them in the holidays" said one of them
as he looked at the boat.
"we were wondering if you could take them to the
island"said another.

"Well i could take them but i would like to see the
island first to see if it is to far"he replied
He took his telescope and put his eyes on it he
turned it from left to right then he saw it it was
fascinating he had also wanted to go to that island
but just never got up to the point to go to it he
took his eye of it and said"i'd be honored to take
the children to the island"
The friends were relived because if they didn't
take the kids it would be a promise broken!!!!!

The old man got the children and set sail and
after a while they arrived
When they got back they were really happy
even the old man.
