My Story
When I started my computer science course, I was excited until I hit a wall: coding. I just couldn't wrap my head around it. My first big assignment was to build a website, and I felt lost in a sea of HTML tags and CSS selectors.
That's when my professor mentioned W3Schools. "It's like a guidebook," he said. So, that night, I gave it a try. W3Schools had a way of making things simple. I began with HTML. It was straightforward, like building blocks, one tag after another.

How it helped me
Night after night, I'd learn a bit more. CSS was next, making my website pretty. Then, JavaScript brought it to life. The tutorials were easy to follow, and the 'Try It Yourself' editor was a game-changer. By the assignment due date, I'd built a small but sleek website. It felt amazing! I turned it in, proud not just of my work, but of how far I'd come. Thanks to W3Schools, coding wasn't a maze anymore; it was a path to creating and exploring new worlds.

HOW IT IS GOING NOW
W3Schools has been a regular component of my study schedule since that first assignment. Their online compiler is always just a click away, allowing me to test my code in real time whether I'm learning Python, SQL, or JavaScript. Thanks to W3Schools' vast library, I'm becoming more proficient in the languages that drive today's digital world every day. It is my constant support on my journey through tech college, not just a study support. Moreover, the global trend is also increasing for online learning and it is become more popular after the COVID period.

CONTRIBUTION OF ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORMS IN EDUCATION
I've always believed that education takes place in a four-wall classroom as a student. That is until I came across websites like Stack Overflow and W3Schools. These are forums where anyone, anywhere, can learn about technology, not just websites. They make me think of what Sir Ken Robinson said about how education must adapt to get us ready for a future that is never far behind (Robinson, 2010).
I've learned more about coding at W3Schools than I ever have in a conventional classroom. Learning there is like stacking building blocks, one line of code at a time, and the knowledge is straightforward. And lastly, Stack Overflow is where I go when I'm stuck. I can solve problems with the support of a million friends, demonstrating the value of collaborative learning.
