"A fading hope" Is a story about a young man who got addicted to drugs and his friend helps him in  changing and making him believe that there is hope

Voice from Outside: Alex, it's me—Sarah. Can we talk?

Alex: (reluctantly) Come in.

Sarah: Alex, I'm worried about you. You've been spiraling out of control, and I can't stand by and watch you destroy yourself.

Alex: (defensive) You don't understand, Sarah. You don't know what it's like to feel this empty, this hopeless.

Sarah: (gentle but firm) I may not know exactly what you're going through, but I know that drugs aren't the answer. They'll only drag you further into darkness.
