The reason i'm writing books now is because one day I was outside and I was imaging a scene and people and I decided to write a book
and it was a good book for my first one. after that I decided to continue
to write books. It's fun to do, and i'm really good at it. That day I found
my special talent.

Hi my name is Mary, I’m 10
years old. I live in Washington
D.C. It was about 7:05 p.m. My
mom and I were watching
Halloween movies it was the
day before Halloween.
Mom asks “Do you want to help me
make caramel apples for the party
tomorrow night?” I said,“Ok I love
making caramel apples!” So I went up
stairs to go wash my hands.
I liked using the bathroom upstairs
because the soap smells like kiwi melon
my favorite, and it smelled so good.
After I washed my hands I saw my
mom get the ingredients out for the
caramel apples.
“Are you ready chef?” mom said with a
smile on her face, mom always calls me
chef when we cook together. I just giggled
and said “Yes master chef!” After we got
done laughing and giggling we got started.
We made regular caramel apples,
caramel apples with peanuts, and my all
time favorite cherry apples!
These caramel apples have cherry sauce
on it that was rich and creamy.
The time was about 10:30 p.m. when we
got done with the apples.
Mom ask, “They look good don’t they
sweetie?" I said, “Yum yum yes they do,
can I get one please, please, please with
sugar on top?” Mom said No, they're for
the party tomorrow night. When I saw
that motherly look on her face I knew
mom was not playing.
