Hi, I am Jordan!
Hi, I am Nick!
Hi, Im Hope!
Preface
The Colors of Diversity. Children are invited on a journey where they'll meet Nick, Jordan, and Hope, three friends who teach invaluable lessons of acceptance, empathy, and unity. These characters illuminate the beauty found in embracing differences. Through their adventures, children will learn the importance of valuing diversity, standing up against prejudice, and fostering friendships that transcend boundaries. With every turn of the page, young readers will discover the power of empathy, kindness, and inclusivity, ultimately inspiring them to create a world where everyone shines brightly, regardless of their background or ethnicity. This book as a whole aims to teach children to celebrate there differences rather then hide them, as a child, I was self conscious about my personal identity and hope this will teach others to embrace there uniqueness.

C'mon guys! It's International Day at school today and I do not want to be late.
International Day was a very big deal at Middlebrook Elementary school. Students of different cultures had the chance to share there culture with the rest of there class while getting to try yummy foods from around the world.
Jordan was especially excited because him and his mother had been working on her famous Arroz con pollo for hours.

While Jordan was enjoying some of his moms cooking, Hope was not so interested in it. She had never tried Spanish food before and was nervous.
Oh my god! It came out so good! You guys need to try this.
Hope hesitated to try the food but eventually gave into Jordan's peer pressure. Instantly her eyes lit up out of enjoyment as she went in for another bite!

Wow, I didn't think I would enjoy it! What other Spanish foods are there?

I knew you would like it! Sometimes you need to be open to different and new things. Next you need to try paella, its even better than the chicken.
Next time you're making it, I better be invited. Should we check out Nicks table next?

I am doing my traditional dance called the Schuhplatter. My family does it whenever we get together.
Nick, what did you do for International Day?
