Perla notices Kira's new necklace and gets jealous. She gets so jealous that she steals it while Kira isn't looking.

She goes to her mom to tell her what she did. Her mom, who believes in the Confucianism religion tells her that she should try being in Kira's shoes and that if someone stole her own belongings she wouldn't like it. Next, she goes to her dad for more advice. Her dad, who believes in the Christianity religion tells her that the 8th commandment in the 10 commandments is "Thou shalt not steal". She realizes that she should be helping Kira and not stealing from her. (Commandments).

She needs advice from one more person so she goes to her aunt. Her aunt, who believes in the Buddhism religion tells her that her actions were dishonest to The Noble Eightfold Path Right Actions and that she should give the necklace back. The Noble Eightfold Path Right Actions explain that we should not destroy life and shall not steal. (Rahula).


We shall not steal from our closest friends.

Perla thinks about giving the necklace back and decides that she should return it because of what her family taught her about Confucianism, Christianity, and Buddhism.
