I am so scared.  How did I get here?  I was in a noisy pet shop and some lady fell in love with me. She brought me to this big house.  It is very quiet.  Soooooo quiet.  

    I miss the other puppies and kitties at the pet shop.  We had a routine at the pet shop.  I liked the worker that walked us every day.  She talked to us and let us sniff the grass while we walked. 

    Maybe the lady that brought me to this big, quiet house will walk with me.   I sure hope so.  I think I will crawl on this cute bed and take a little nap.   I am so tired.    

    What is that noise?  I hear voices and laughing.  The lady that brought me here is talking to someone.  I hear, “What, we got a puppy?  Are you kidding?  Let’s go see him!”  

    All of a sudden three beautiful girls are running at me.  I am scared again.  The biggest girl picks me up and cuddles me.  She is crying.  She seems very happy that I am here in this big quiet house.

    The lady that brought me here is talking.  

    “Harper, Marlee and Stella, this is our new puppy” she says, “What should we name him?”   

    Harper says, “How about Theodore?”
