Reading? UGH!

I hate reading! I know it's a strong word, but I have strong feelings! Words on a page? How silly!

Reading is fun!

Ms. M says it's fun-duh-ment-al? I don't even know what that word means, so it can't be too important.

TA-DA!!

Why would I waste time sitting and reading words on a page? I could be doing such cooler things, like riding my bike or a cool dance!

I think the M in my teacher's name stands for MONSTER!

She must be brainwashing students into reading spells!

"I don't know Harold, I thought he'd grow out of it by now" My mother laughs. 

"Give him some time Marie. Soon, he'll love to read!" My father pats her back.

OH NO!

Miss M has brainwashed my parents! I have to save them. I have an idea! I'll get my two best friends, Rachel and Aaron, to help me.

"Guys! This whole reading thing has gotten out of hand! Ms. M must be stopped, help me take a stand!"

"Don't be silly, Ms. M just loves books!" Racheal tells me.

Everyone else has found so much fun inside of some paper. I finally admit my fail and talk to Ms. M

"You don't hate reading," She laughs, "You just haven't found the right book!"
