2. In 200 words, explain the phrase "The Nurse is the Heart of the Hospital".
For me the phrase "The Nurse is the Heart of the Hospital" is a powerful reminder of nurses' important role in the society. Nurses are caring helpers who connect medical knowledge with patient well-being, showing empathy, strength, and dedication. In healthcare, nurses are central to patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and healing sometimes they were misinterpreted with there actions and people tend to criticize them without knowing how dedicated they are in providing care even they are exhausted. They comfort those upset, educate the unsure and those who is having difficulty in understanding about their health, and empower the weak, building trust in healthcare settings.
They don't just give medicine and treatments; they also address emotional and mental needs for holistic healing, not only for the patient but also to their colleauges. They are the ally of the patient. They're like the guardians of the hospital, always ready to lend a helping hand and provide comfort to those in need. Without nurses, hospitals wouldn't be able to function properly, just like our bodies wouldn't be able to survive without a healthy heart. They're the ones who ensure that patients receive the care they need and deserve, making them truly the heart of the hospital. It is also a given fact that nurses are the most exposed individuals in the medical field which is why they that can truly empathize and show compassion while doing their duty.
Their impact goes beyond hospitals most of the time over looked, touching the lives of patients and families in vulnerable times. I was Inspired by this idea that I should continue and be more focus on my studies so that in the near future I can really say that I am the heart of the hospital as nurse, I am driven to make a positive impact, offering hope and healing to those in need, embodying the compassion and dedication that defines nursing.
3. Express your thoughts in 200 words on the importance of having a hospital evacuation plan in times of disaster.
Having hospital evacuation center is very important in every areas this provide a safe place for residents to evacuate to during disasters and to support their needs during their stay that’s why I believe that having a hospital evacuation plan during times of disaster and catastrophe is incredibly important for several reasons. A hospital evacuation plan can involve a series of concurrent evacuations from different wards and areas of the hospital, with resources organized according to a hierarchy of needs to address the specific evacuation problems encountered by your hospital. What we need first is to determine what our aims are in the evacuation plan, which ultimately, are to move all patients away from danger as quickly and efficiently as possible, while sustaining the highest level of patient care.
