There once was a boy,

Whose life was full of joy,

But something was missing there,

That he could not quite bear:

A half empty space occupied his heart.

He searched for others with that part, 

But sadly, none could fit just right

And he began to give up this fight.

That night, as he lay down to sleep, 

He thought he would almost weep. 

"Please, please, let me find my other half?

 One who will smile and love and laugh?"

On the other side of town,

A girl was ready to lay down,

But had the urge to wish upon a star,

Hoping that her prince would come from 

near or far.

For you see, the girl's luck was bad.

The men either were wrong or made her 

mad.

She began to think it was her,

And that none would make her heart stir.

Was it karma or merely her fate,

To not find the one and to only date?

"There has to be that special one,

Or all this love," she thought,"is for none."
