INTRODUCTION - CELAL YILDIZ AND HIS TEAM
John who is an English young man , loves the world and saving very much and thinks about the future generations. One day, he find an idea and he starts to search on the internet for the countries which have the highest waste rate of water, energy, food and paper. Using the data he obtained as a result of this research, he wants to visit these countries where waste is made and to inform the public about wasting in these countries and to raise awareness about wasting. First, he is going to visit Turkey, where wasting rate of water is the most, then he is going to g oto India, where wasting rate of energy is the most, and then he is going to India, where wastıng rate of food is the most. And then he is going to visit Chine which has the highest rate of wasting food. At last he is going to visit United States of America which has the highest rate of wasting paper. John wants to determine a common slogan stating the purposes of these visits.John's motto is: SAVE FOR A BETTER FUTURE.
When it's time to start his trip, John packs his suitcase and goes to the airport. First destination is Türkiye. John boards on the plane and arrives Türkiye after a long flight.
John wants to start immediately. He meets with the authorities and manages to plan a meeting with two participants from each city in the country. Before the meeting starts, all participants are ready in the meeting room.
Wasting of water : Nuray Genç AND HER TEAM
John is on a mission to combat wastefulness and promote a sustainable future. Arriving in Turkey, where water waste is a significant concern, he wastes no time in rallying support for his cause. Gathering a diverse group of stakeholders from various cities across the country, John initiates a dialogue on the importance of conserving water resources.
With his compelling message of "SAVE FOR A BETTER FUTURE," John encourages everyone to rethink their water usage habits and explore innovative solutions for conservation. Through workshops, presentations, and community outreach efforts, he strives to raise awareness about the consequences of water waste and inspire collective action.
As John stepped into the meeting room, he felt a mix of excitement and determination. He glanced around at the diverse group of individuals gathered, representing different cities across Turkey. There were local officials, environmental activists, educators, and concerned citizens, all eager to hear what John had to say about combating water waste.
With a deep breath, John began his presentation, projecting images and statistics onto the screen behind him. He spoke passionately about the importance of conserving water, not only for the present generation but for the sake of future ones as well. He highlighted innovative solutions from around the world and emphasized the role each person could play in reducing water waste in their daily lives.
Throughout his presentation, John engaged with the audience, encouraging questions and discussions.

Then John started talking about the results of saving water. It started with the fact that they can contribute to both the country's economy and the home economy by saving water. Then he started talking about the benefits of saving water for future generations. The most important of these benefits was preventing water scarcity and preventing future generations from experiencing this water scarcity. This was followed by preventing water wars that would start as a result of water scarcity in the future. He added to these results that agricultural activities could be continued since there would be enough water later. This meeting was very productive for John. The participants understood very well what John was trying to say. As soon as John finished speaking, they immediately started talking among themselves. John was very curious about what they were talking about among themselves. Because they spoke in Turkish, John could not understand them.
Finally John asked what they were talking about. Participants said that they exchanged ideas about what they could do to prevent water waste and save water. John was very happy to hear this.
By the end of the meeting, there was a palpable sense of unity and determination in the room. Inspired by John's message, the participants pledged to take action in their respective cities, implementing water-saving practices and raising awareness among their fellow citizens.
As John bid farewell to the group, he felt a surge of optimism. This was just the beginning of his journey, but already he could see the impact he was making. With renewed energy, he looked forward to his next destination, India, where he would continue his mission to save for a better future.

John's next stop was India. John liked this city very much.ohn met with
the authorities in India and asked for help in developing water saving methods. He stated that this problem is not only India's problem but also the world's problem. During the meetings, it was decided to launch a campaign. Within the scope of this campaign, the public would be taught water saving methods and the more effective use of water would be encouraged.
The Prime Minister of India decided to organize a competition to make this successful campaign. Participants in the competition would present the most creative water saving methods and win prizes. This competition would help people become aware of water saving and raise awareness.
There was participation in the competition from all over India. People have developed various methods to use water more effectively in their homes, workplaces and fields. Some started to irrigate their fields with less water by installing drip irrigation systems. Some people prevented water leaks by repairing the taps in their homes. Others built water storage tanks to collect rain.
The idea that received the greatest support came from an Indian teacher:
“Water wells, built centuries ago in the arid regions of India and then forgotten, are of great importance to solve today's water crisis. The amount of water collected in a well of this size could greatly reduce famine. These structures, which are built in the form of an inverted pyramid, narrowing downwards, can be restored and reused."
At the end of the competition, participants who presented the most effective water saving methods were rewarded.
However, the real reward was India's effort to use its water more efficiently and leave a better world to future generations.
The people of India became conscious about saving water and acquired new habits. Now everyone understood the value of water better and avoided wasting it. India has become a country that best protects the value of water, and this example has become an inspiration for other countries.
Wasting of energy : Ali Çalışkan AND HIS TEAM
After a successful meeting in Turkey, John boarded the plane once again, this time bound for India. As he flew across continents, he reflected on the passionate individuals he had met and the potential for change they represented.
Arriving in India, John wasted no time in diving into his mission. He arranged meetings with local leaders, activists, and community members to discuss the pressing issue of energy waste. In bustling cities and remote villages alike, John spoke about the importance of adopting renewable energy sources, reducing consumption, and embracing sustainable practices.
In Mumbai, he visited a school where students were leading the charge in energy conservation, implementing initiatives like solar panels and energy-efficient lighting. In Delhi, he met with government officials who were working to promote clean energy policies and invest in renewable infrastructure.
With each meeting, John witnessed the power of collective action and the potential for change when communities come together for a common cause.
By the end of his time in India, he had inspired countless individuals to take steps towards a more sustainable future, one where energy is used wisely and preserved for generations to come.
As he prepared to depart for his next destination, China, John felt a sense of gratitude and determination. The journey ahead would be challenging, but he knew that with perseverance and passion, anything was possible. With his motto, "SAVE FOR A BETTER FUTURE," guiding him, John embarked on the next leg of his journey, ready to continue making a difference in the world.

The plane began to taxi on the tarmac with a loud noise. The journey was long, but there was much to do, much to think about, and this long journey was a great opportunity for John. With all its splendor, India had been left behind, and the planebegan to glide over clouds resembling large cotton candies.
All the work, meetings, and review notes had begun to gnaw at his mind, both on the computer and in his head. Saving for a betterfuture… But how much was India affected by such energy waste? Knowing, calculating, and clearly stating this might be of greatbenefit to convince the people there of the energy-saving India that John dreamt of. Maybe looking at economic data would be helpful. After all, producing energy meant cost. Notes were shuffled, numbers were scrutinized, and the result slowly began to emerge like a black spot on the bright screen of the computer. India was one of the world's largest economies. In some areas, it had surpassed China in competition. Its gross national product wasincreasing year by year. Things were going well numerically. But why was the purchasing power of the people low?
Why was the country experiencing significant environmental pollution? Why was transportation so poor? Why was urbanization living in both a modern and ancient age? The answer was simple. This country, which harbored 17% of the world's population, was not saving energy. This awareness had not yet settled. Material burden, pollution, unconscious use of rich coal reserves, population density, and similar problems stemmed from the lack of saving consciousness. Saving for a better future...
If every Indian started their day with this motto, the world would be a better place for them, and the Ganges River would flow brighter. John was excited to report his findings to the Indian officials he had discussed with. Yes, a better future is in our hands...
Saving methods of energy : Gülay Nezihoğlu AND HER TEAM
During his time in India, John emphasized various energy-saving methods that individuals, communities, and institutions could adopt to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.
One key strategy John highlighted was the importance of transitioning to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. He explained how these sources generate electricity without producing harmful greenhouse gas emissions, unlike traditional fossil fuels like coal and oil. John showcased examples of homes, businesses, and even entire communities that had installed solar panels or wind turbines to harness clean, renewable energy from the sun and wind.In addition to embracing renewable energy, John stressed the significance of energy efficiency measures in buildings, appliances, and transportation.
He shared tips on how to insulate homes to reduce heat loss, upgrade to energy-efficient appliances and lighting fixtures, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for maximum efficiency. John also encouraged the use of public transportation, cycling, and walking as eco-friendly alternatives to driving, which not only save energy but also promote healthier lifestyles and reduce air pollution.
Throughout his presentations and discussions, John emphasized the collective impact of small actions multiplied across millions of individuals. Whether it was turning off lights when not in use, unplugging electronics, carpooling, or investing in energy-saving technologies, every effort counted towards building a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
As the meetings progressed, participants exchanged ideas and shared success stories of energy-saving initiatives happening in their communities. Inspired by John's message and armed with practical knowledge and resources, they pledged to take concrete steps
towards reducing energy waste and promoting a cleaner, greener future for all.
Wasting of food : Özlem Bütün Atladı AND HER TEAM
John's journey to China to learn more about food waste could involve visiting various cities and regions, where he might explore how different communities handle food production, consumption, and waste management. He reaches reasons for the waste of food in china and he founds out:
Food waste in China is a pressing issue, driven by rapid economic growth, urbanization, and changing consumer habits. Here's an overview of the situation:
1. **Extent of Food Waste**:
- **Scale**: It is estimated that China wastes up to 35 million tons of food annually. This waste occurs at various stages, including households, restaurants, and food processing industries.
2. **Primary Causes**:
- **Economic Growth and Urbanization**: As China has urbanized and its middle class has expanded, consumer behaviors have shifted, leading to increased food consumption and waste.
- **Cultural Practices**: In Chinese culture, serving abundant food can be seen as a sign of hospitality and wealth, which often results in over-ordering and large portions, particularly in restaurants and banquets.
