One autumn morning a little squirrel named Archie came out of his burrow and went onto a nearby branch. As he was sitting on a branch he got a cold shiver. "Gosh oh jolly, it's getting pretty chilling. Hmm I should talk to momma and poppa" Little Archie says. He turns around and crawls back into the burrow.

Once inside he sees momma and poppa squirrel, and his big sister Tilly all sitting around enjoying each other's company "Momma winter is coming" Archie yells. "Yes I know dear, it's a good thing we stock up for the winter" momma squirrel says. "Yeah with all of the nuts, acorns, and berries we saved, we will survive the winter." Papa squirrel comments

Archie and Tilly looked at each other then back at their parents. "About that we no longer have anymore food" Tilly tells them. "What do you mean we don't have anymore food?" Papa squirrel asks. "Well it all started a few weeks ago...." Tilly starts. 

Tilly was walking through the woods when she heard some crying. She went towards where the crying was coming from and saw Mr. Bear. "Why so blue Mr. Bear?" Tilly asks.  "Winter is in a couple weeks and I am all out of food. I fear I might not survive the winter" Mr. Bear complains. "Well I have plenty of food back at the burrow. I could bring some for you" Tilly mentions. "You would do that for me?" Mr. Bear asks. "I would, my momma always said good things come when you help others" Tilly said as she quickly runs back to the burrow and brings back tons of berries and nuts. "Thank you my little squirrel friend" Mr. Bear says as he starts counting the berries, acorns and nuts. Tilly nods her head and runs along back through the woods. 

On the same day Archie was walking through the woods as well but ran into a sad Mrs. Bee. "What's making your buzzing so sad Mrs. Bee?" Archie asks. "I have to find some food for my queen and my hive but I cannot find any" Mrs. Bee bawled. "I have plenty of food back at my burrow. I can give you some, that way you will have food for your hive" Archie explain in a happy tone. "Oh you would?  Thank you!!"  Archie runs back to the burrow and grabs tons of acorns, nuts and berries. He then brings them back to Mrs. Bee. "My queen will be very grateful little one" Mrs. Bee said as she buzzes away. Archie continues on with his walk through the woods. 

After the encounter with Mr. Bear, Tilly walks towards the beach and see a sad Mr. Turtle. "What's got your shell so blue Mr. Turtle?" Tilly gasped. "Well you see my little friend my food got eaten by those no good seagulls. Now I don't got food for the winter" Mr. Turtle shared. "Well I have plenty of food back at the burrow. I could bring some for you" Tilly exclaimed. "Oh that would be wonderful" Mr. Turtle expressed. Tilly quickly runs back to the burrow and brings back tons of berries, acorns and nuts. After giving the acorns and nuts to Mr. Turtle, she heads back home.
