Once upon a time, there were two boys named 

Max and Freak. When they were little, they 

were friends. They met at daycare.

Freak had a growing disability. It didn't allow him to grow as 

tall as Max had. Max was big.

Max Lived with his grandparents, because his mother died 

and his daddy was in jail. His daddy is not a nice person. 

Freak   lives with his mommy, the fair Gwen.

When they got older, Max and Freak were best 

friends. On the fourth of July, they were chased 

by a group of bullies. Freak stopped them, while 

riding on top of Max's shoulders. The police 

came.

One night, they go on a quest at three a.m. they found a 

purse. The woman who owned that purse is called Loretta 

Lee. she knew Max's Daddy.

On the first day of school, Max is sent to the principal's office. 

The principal tells Max that his dad might be out of jail, and 

that he wants to see Max. Max does not want to see his father.

While at lunch, Freak chokes on American chop suey. He's 

alright, but since they called an ambulance, he has to check in 

at the hospital.

In two years, Freak will get a new body. He will be 

strong, and be able to walk properly.

Once upon a time, Max's family was having 

Christmas Eve dinner with Freak and his mom. 

Max and Freak get to open one present. Freak 

gave Max a dictionary he wrote.

That night, when Max is tucked up in his bed, 

his daddy comes and takes him to Loretta and 

Iggy's house. Daddy and Iggy were friends.
