Monday
I woke up today at the sound of wood blocks being placed. I yawned and walked out the door. Alex was building a small tower out of wood planks. "What are you doing?" I asked. She looked over at me. "Oh, hey Luke." She said. "I'm building a watchtower." She said.
"What? Why?" I asked.
"Well, I love this place,"
She said. "So, I
decided to live in this

forest. In an underground house. This watchtower will be the top of my house. I can have a ladder that goes into this tower."
I nodded. "Well, that's a good idea.:" I paused for a second, then said, "Well, I guess this is goodbye." She nodded. She walked over and hugged me. "By, Luke." I hugged her back. "It was nice knowing you, Alex." "Whoa whoa whoa," She said. She put her hands on my shoulders. "I'll visit your village," She said. I looked at the ground. "But it's so far..." She held my chin up. "But it's worth it to me. I'll make a rail track from here to there.
I smiled softly, even though It was weak.

She smiled at me. "Goodbye, Luke." I nodded. "Goodbye."
Hours Later...
I sat down against a tree, gasping for air. Running for hours really drains your hunger bar. I need to pack more food, I thought.
I grabbed a piece of rotten flesh and gagged.
EWWWWWWWW. I thought. Despite how
disgusting the meal was, I needed to eat
it to survive. I considered hunting, but then
I didn't have a furnace, and I didn't want

to spend hours mining stone just to craft one. I shoved it in my mouth and swallowed. I gagged and almost threw up, then downed a bucket of milk and felt refreshed.
I stood up and started to walk. After hours and hours, the sun began to set. I built a small dirt hut and camped in there with a single torch on the wall.
I shuddered as a breeze
blew over me. I was super
cold, and didn't have enough
wool for a sleeping bag.

Tuesday
I woke up to the sound of a zombie pounding on my door. I drew my Voc sword and trembled. The zombie pounded and pounded, then finally it caught fire from the sun. I could hear it run around and then poof into smoke.
I let out a sigh of relief and slid out the door. The trees of the forest towered over me. It gave me an uneasy feeling, and I held up my sword a bit higher. As I packed up my shelter, it stayed on my belt.
I had a goal today. I needed to get a furnace.

I grabbed my pickaxe and walked towards a cave.
I smashed a block for about 30 minutes and finally it popped out of the cave walls.
I smashed out 8 more blocks after a few hours, and scrambled out of the cave. I quickly crafted a furnace and cooked up a piece of chicken.

After my meal, I walked for the rest of the day.
Wednesday
I woke up with lots of energy. I decided I would make it twice as far today. I packed up my dirt hut and ran.
I ran, ignoring the pain in my body. I needed
to make a decent amount of distance
today. If I made 2.5x more distance
than average, I would have to walk
0.5x less tomorrow to make it to my
village.
(I made a map on my travels).

I ran and ran, and then something caught my eye so I stopped. A giant zombie, something I'd only read about.
A mutant zombie. I gulped.
It turned toward me. I tried to slip
behind a tree, but it noticed me.
It let out a deafening roar, and
launched at me, faster than any
zombie.
I tried to dodge it, but it grabbed
my neck and slammed me into a tree.

I let out a yell of pain as it dragged me across the bark.
It threw me into another tree, and roared. I grunted and swiftly slipped on my Voc armor and drew my Voc sword.
I darted toward the zombie,
yelling a warcry.
It roared again, and
reached out a hand to grab
me.
I dodged it's giant, fleshy
hand, then sliced it's chest. It roared in pain and was knocked

back. I grinned at my sword and thought, This sword is even more powerful than I thought!
I charged toward it, and stabbed it's arm. I yelled out, then socked me in the gut. I went flying and smacked into a cliff.
"OOF!!!"
I quickly recovered with a piece of chicken and readied my sword.
The zombie was on it's feet now, and then it started to jog toward me. "*GARGLEEEE*!"
I held up my sword to block it's fist as it attempted a punch.
I smirked as I struck it's chest, then followed up with a stab.
It roared and tried to punch, but just ended up twisting itself up and fell to the ground. I stabbed it once more and it exploded into smoke.
It dropped tons of XP and a gigantic hammer. When I opened up my inventory to examine the hammer, I noticed a black crystal, labeled, "The Core of the Wither."
I thought for a moment. "Ohh, the Wither Storm must've dropped this," I said to myself.
I wondered what it could do, when I looked down at my XP bar. I was at level 98.
I gasped. You see, when you hit Level 100, you get to choose a Guide.
A guide is like a profession, except you get abilities related to the Guide you chose.
I was so excited I started to look for some animals to gain XP.
By the end of the day, I was at Level 99.
I pouted, but promised I would get to Level 100 tommorow.
