In a little village in Brighton, St. Vincent, a cheerful girl named Lily lived. She loved playing with friends and picking flowers and mangoes from the trees.

Lily and her friends played together every day. They laughed, danced, and shared stories under the warm sun.

One day, Lily saw that the mangoes were ripe and ready to be picked. She couldn't wait to share them with her friends.

Lily climbed up the tree eagerly, but she forgot to ask her friends to help. She wanted to be the first to pick the mangoes.

"Her friends watched from below, feeling left out. They wanted to help and share the fun, too.

Lily didn't want help. I am a big girl she thought, I can do this on my own. But could she?

Lily climbed down and thought about how she could have included her friends so that they could get mangoes. 

She tried and tried, but could not reach the mangoes.
