All the men were married.



Sadie was going to the market, so she asked her daughter Clara if there was anything she needed her to buy for the house. Clara loves riddles, so she said: "This is what you will buy; I am tall when I'm young and short when I'm old." Sadie thought for a bit, and came back from the store with what Clara wanted. The answer is not edible, neither is it stationery. What was the answer to the riddle?

Tia met with the world's strongest person and challenged him to hold something for five minutes. It was as light as a feather, and not alive, yet the man failed the bet. Why?

Jill and Jane always wind each other up in the morning. This time, Jill challenges Jane to sit in a chair. "I bet I can get you to stand up from the chair before I run around it three times." Poppy woke up one morning, and without opening her eyes, or getting up—she knows it has been snowing. How?

Poppy is a cow who lives and sleeps in a field.


Three firefighters say Jack is their brother. Jack says he has no brothers. How many brothers does Jack actually have?

None: Jack has three sisters.




A man boasts about his many children, saying, "All are blonde, but two, all are dark haired, but two, all are red haired, but two." How many children does he really have?

He has three children: One dark haired, one blonde, and one red haired.




A man calls his dog from the opposite side of a river. The dog crosses the river and doesn't get wet, and doesn't use a bridge or boat. How is this possible?


The river was frozen.

Harry challenged Rachel with this riddle: I have lakes with no water, mountains with no stones, and cities with no people. What am I?
If Rachel guessed correctly, she would win $10. Sadly, Rachel failed. Can you find the answer to the riddle?
