about Umon and his plan to take the

the Phoenix at all cost!" She gathered

it hid in the rocky mountains named
Helios. The mountains were dangerous
to trek, for they were filled with lava. The
smell of sulfur would drive the bravest
adventurer away, and the lava proved
deadly to anyone who should slip and fall

his every step but staying hidden. She
didn't want Umon finding out she was
there to stop him. She wanted to catch him
by surprise. when Umon reached the top

"The magic you seek is not learned.

didn't move his beak, his voice filled Umon's head, using
telepathy.

concentrated, feeling the coolness in his
hands. As he felt that coldness, he

to form on his hands. Icicles formed on
his hands, hanging off of them. He aimed
his hand at the Phoenix, but didn't release
the magic at him. "I'll ask you one last time
Bird. What is the secret?!"

magic start to form on Umon, she stepped

around her, she concentrated, forming flame
to levitate on her hand. "Step away from
the Phoenix!" Norin shouted at Umon.
She aimed her hands at the wizard, but
didn't cast the spell.
