


Giant pandas are found in the southern & eastern parts of China.
The giant panda eats bamboo stalks, leaves, and shoots. But bamboo isn't very nutritious. An adult panda eats between 26 to 83 lb. [ 12 to 38 kilograms ] of bamboo every day. The one percent of the panda's diet that isn't bamboo includes a variety of foods. Pandas munch on fruit, vegetables, rodents, and grass.

Giant panda's predators are jackals, snow leopards, and yellow throated martens.



People are the biggest threat to panda's survival. As China's population continues to grow more land is cleared for farming, roads, and other developments. Because of this their food and home are getting taken away.
