Chapter One
“Therefore, we should not underestimate the purposes of the earth's nature” I said to the class.
“The end” I finished. The only person that clapped was my very best friend; Sara Backaliptio.
I know, ‘Sara Backaliptio’ is sorta a strange name, but she's my best friend anyway.
My presentation was about animals and nature in the jungle. I’m in sixth grade, and I like it but all the different classes are harder to manage than Elementary School but, I don't care. In all of my classes I have at least one person that I know.
"Come on, Madison! We need to get lunch early if we want to sit with the cool kids!"
Sara groaned. "Don't you mean if you want to sit with the cool kids?" I snickered.
"Haha, very funny" Sara said.
Sara pulled at my arm and literally had do drag me all the way to the lunch.
To be honest it wasn't that bad, but I would never admit that to her.
I was enjoying middle school, but I didn't want to jinx it.
"Ring, ring, ring!" went the school bell. That sound, was and will always be the worst sound.
I know that I said that I enjoy middle school;and I did, until the second week of school.
Here's what happened; I walked through the doors and started to walk towards my locker.
but then a boy named Jeremy Bickley bumped into me and I dropped my books is what I hope was a puddle of water. I'm pretty sure that it was water because it was right next to the water fountain. all my books were soaked. and to make it worse someone pushed me into the water fountain and I got soaked. I had no choice but to go to class looking like that, so I walked into school looking like I had swam to school.
