Pre-Day
Driving. Driving all the way from Utah to California, in the back of a hot, sweaty car, next to your 3 yelling, screaming, crying sisters. This is going to be a fun trip. My parents decided we were going on a cruise with her whole family, so my cousins will be there. I love my cousins, especially my cousin Beck, but some of them are just plain old annoying. Like Jade and Ruby. (No offense to them though)
After about 7 long, dreadful hours of driving, we stopped in Las Vegas to stay the night at the Castle Hotel or something. All I know is that it was a castle. As soon as we got in the room, my sisters started fighting for the bed they wanted. Gosh. This was going to be a long night.
Day 1
After we slept for like 4 hours, we kept on driving for another 5 hours. Once we got to California, we stopped about 5 miles away from the cruise pick up, we stopped at IHOP, because, PANCAKES! Who doesn't like pancakes?!? But for me, I like their Chicken Sandwich because, CHICKEN! Once we were done eating, we drove those five miles, and we saw all of the cargo boxes for the cruise ship EVERYWHERE. “Mom, why are there so many boxes?” my youngest sister Evie asked. “Well, the boxes hold all the food, towels, plates, forks, knives and spoons. So basically everything. If the ship didn't have those boxes, there wouldn't be anything!” my mom responded. Wow, I whispered to myself.

I think I fell asleep, because when I opened my eyes we were parked and everybody was getting ready to get on the ship. I yawned, and got out of the car. Finally, I thought, we can start this adventure, after all, this is my first cruise. We got on the ship, my heart was pumping because of how excited I was, and my eyes opened as wide as they could and looked around like a tiger's eyes looking for its prey. Look at this place! It's HUGE! You could probably fit like 100 elephants in here, but that probably wouldn't be very smart. On the ship I went to my cabin, (the room), I’m sleeping in and waited for my cousin Beck to walk in. Our Cabin was on Level 9, and everybody else was mostly on 5. When my cousin Beck walked in he was like “Hmm, I thought it would be bigger.” “Give me a hug!” I said to him laughing. We hadn't seen each other for so long, since he lives in Colorado, so it was good to see him again. “Let's explore,” he said. “Yes, let's.” We went to the other side of the ship and found everybody in the buffet. My mom, dad, sister Lyla, Claire, and Evie, cousin Noah, Sammie, Leah, Jade, Ruby, Micah, Levi, and like 20 more cousins. My mom had 7 other siblings, each with about 4 kids, so basically, A LOT of cousins!

Hi
Beck and I went down to the 5th floor and found all the restaurants, bars and shops. We stopped at the free dessert table and both got a chocolate chip cookie. Afterward we went to the 11th floor to check out the pool, and it was pretty cool. They had some restaurants up by the pool but only like a small corn dog stand. “This is boring.” Beck said. “Little bit,” I responded. I looked around and found an ice cream bar. I smiled. “Boring now?” I asked Beck, pointing to the ice cream bar. He smiled.
We found some stairs, so we walked up them, with a belly full of ice cream. “Man, that was good,” I said. He nodded. We got up to the top of the stairs and found 4 hot tubs, and a… “MINI GOLF COURSE!” We both yelled, running to the course. Goodness, this cruise has everything, I thought to myself. But we haven't explored it all.
We went to dinner at the buffet tonight and I got a hamburger and some fries. I heard some Indian people there say “Classic american” and laugh, but no matter. Who cares? I love my hamburger and fries and no one can take that away from me. We went into our cabin and slept for the night. Tomorrow is another day.

Day 2
I woke up and stayed laying down because I was the first one awake. I waited until Beck was awake for us to get dressed and go across the hall into the Buffet. Although I was the first one awake in my cabin, I wasn't the first one awake between everyone. I ate some pancakes and Beck ate cereal. “Dude, you're soooo boring, you could cereal any day at your house,” I said, rolling my eyes. “I know,” he said, chewing a mouth full of cereal, “but this is cruise cereal.” He has a point. Before we left, I grabbed a bowl of cereal.
We went to the 11th floor again and this time went through another pair of doors to find… WATER SLIDES! “Umm,” Beck said, looking at me with a smile. “Let's do it.” This cruise has everything!

Fast forward a couple hours because all we did was slides and pool, (by the way, the pool was salt water, bleegh), we went to a restaurant that was very fancy on the 4th floor, and found our table. Our server’s name was Aan (A-an), and he was the BEST! He made us flowers out of napkins and served us free pink lemonade! (That was good because usually you pay like $3 more for special drinks). This table was the one we were going to be on the whole cruise and we were going to have Aan the whole time! I ate a steak and some soup and for dessert I ate a key-lime pie. Yummmmm. Key-lime pie is one of my favorite desserts. This cruise has everything! We went to the pool and found they were playing a movie. In fact, they were playing The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which just came out. That was impressive because you could only see it at the movies at the time, so we watched it, even though I’ve seen it before. We went to bed.

Day 3
I woke up and I was excited because today was the day we were going to stop at our first stop, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We left around 10am and when we got there we were just walking around, and we went and saw a Catholic temple and it was pretty cool, and after we were trying to get to the beach. We found the beach and we found some sellers there. Since I take Spanish classes, I could communicate with them pretty well. Beck and I both found sellers who sold us both right-there made wristbands, with our names on them. After lunch we got necklaces. I had a shark tooth necklace and he and a turtle. It was really cool. We went back to the ship at 4 pm and kept sailing to our next destination.

Tonight we went back to the fancy restaurant (I’m just going to call it F.R, because fancy restaurant is too long), and this time I ate some soup and for dessert, I think, I had apple cobbler. Mmmm. It was really good. This cruise has everything. Tonight after dinner we stayed after at the pool later into the night and found them playing Back to the Future 1. This was my first time ever seeing it surprisingly, but I LOVED it. This cruise has everything! We went to bed and I was so ready for another day.
