The Jones's were a very dull family. They spent their days watching tv, sleeping and eating.

Their very dull life had a very bored audience. A black and white cat named Nibbles, a playful dog named Fluffy, and a wise turtle named Shelly. 

The Jones's were very unaware that these animals were not just ordinary animals. They could talk, write and read. They also could understand the language people spoke. The pets had decided to hide their abilities from the Jones family. It was much more fun to get up to mischief without anyone knowing. After all, if anything unusual happened, nobody could blame these ordinary, innocent animals could they?

Tuesday evening was a typical example. Once the Jones's would retire to bed after watching hours of mind numbing TV, Shelly, Fluffy and Nibbles would get together and plan their escape from this boring life. They planned this escape everyday for weeks, although they never thought it would come true.

 It was fun to come up with far-fetched ideas and pretend that one day they would be free.

They never realised that it would come true very soon.

The next day the pets had a dreaded appointment at the vet. While the pets thought that they were not very important,  and felt overlooked most of the time, the Jones's took their health as the one thing other than watching TV seriously.

As the pets peered out of their cases, they saw a towering building, with a large sign that stated "Vets". They knew it would not take long, however the thought of going in the building was sickening. 

Once they reached, a leash was clipped onto Fluffy the dog's collar. The rest of them were placed in their cases. They had finally entered the dreaded building.

Since they had such a dull and boring life, without any exposure to the outside, the vet was a bit concerned that they looked a bit pale and unwell.

He decided to keep them for a few nights to see if they would get happier. The vets was always a warm, friendly place and it was nice to be around other animals for a change.

 The vet gently picked Shelly- the turtle, up and checked him. He then looked at Nibbles the cat, and finally, Fluffy the dog. He turned to the Jones's and said, “Your pets are looking very tired. They’re not making much noise, nor are they moving much either. I think it’s best if we keep them here for a while, just so that I can keep an eye on them.”

The Jones's nodded, they did not mind the pets not being home, it meant less work for them.

The animals had a relaxing change over the next day and a half. They had such a good time at the vets, that he noticed the change in their behaviour and was satisfied to send them back home.

Shelly, Nibbles and Fluffy were placed in a room with some other animals while they waited to be collected by their owners.

It was fun, meeting and greeting lots of other animals. Some were kind, some were cool and some were just weird.

Finally the Vet's assistant came in and placed the turtle and cat in their carry cases and leashed the dog. It was time to leave. She handed the cases and the leash with dog to a man dressed in a strange outfit. He looked like a pilot maybe. Or a driver?

The three pets were a bit confused! Who was this man and why were they being given to him?

This strange, pilot like man took them to a rather grand car, it was an elegant matt black, with matt gold door handles. The man placed them into the car, and drove off. Where were they going? 

The drive was rather long and in the end they reached a small airport. The dog and the carry cases were taken up into a small, beautiful airplane. They were so confused. Where were they going? The animals were confused, but at the same time all this was so exciting. 

Before they even realised what was happening, the plane was taking off! Soon they were freed from their leash and cages and were treated like kings! The yummiest treats, the best service and a whole area was given just for them!

Nibbles the cat was just eating a bowl of cat treats when they felt sick, they felt as if they were floating, Fluffy the dog barked and pointed outside the window, they were going down, it was a funny feeling. Suddenly, all Nibbles's cat treats flew up in the air as the plane jerked. They had landed. Shelly seemed calm during all this, it was almost as though he knew this was meant to happen. 

Suddenly, Fluffy had a leash clipped to his collar and Nibbles and Shelly were taken into their carry cases again. They were being taken out of the plane. where were they going?

A warm breeze ruffled their fur, wherever they were, it was a very warm place indeed. The sight of Palm trees indicated that they were somewhere tropical. But where?

Before they had time to take in their surroundings, they were taken directly into a beautiful, white limousine. After a short car drive, they were dropped off at a towering, white building with tall pillars and marble floors. It was surrounded by tall palm trees and behind it, you could see the crystal clear, blue ocean. 

Three very well-dressed butlers immediately took them into this beautiful building, and into a giant bathroom where three large, bubbly, hot baths awaited. Forget the confusion, the three animals whispered to each other to just enjoy this weird but wonderful moment. 

After their baths, while wrapped up in warm, fluffy towels, and while having a hot hair dryer blasted at them, one of the butlers whispered; ' The Shaikh can not wait to finally be reunited with you after a month of separation from his beloved pets.'
