Love it or hate it, Math is important.
Me personally, I am not the biggest fan of math. But doesn't mean I don't do it!
Here, We have some basic equations:
9+9
10x1
4-3
2+1
But not everybody knows these.
Many young children haven't started school yet.

Most of the ages who aren't in school are:
2-3
1-2
0-1

Preschool Teachers are usually around the age of 34 and 39
Math is quite simple, Though.
I do not expect a 2 year old to know 5x2, But some actually do know it!
The commutative property of multiplication Makes math easier.
For example, 10x2 = 2x10. They are different, But equal the same Value.
For example, If you were to have trouble solving 4 times 11, try 11 times 4! Doing 4 times 11 is harder, Because of more numbers. Yet, They still equal the same.
11 times 4 equals 44! And, 4 Times 11 equals 44!

3x6=? 3+3+3+3+3+3= 18
6x3=? 6+6+6= 18
6x3 = 3x6
6x3 Is easier to help.
Imagine seeing a bottle cap, A regular everyday item, Correct?
Yes, But Surprisingly, Shapes also have math!
Have you seen a pie chart? With a two-dimensional circle, You can make something kind of like that!
But instead, There is math in it! Fractions use a circle, and Fractions are used for more every-day tasks!
Like baking, tests, ETC. 1/4 in baking is 4 tablespoons, and 12 teaspoons. In the image, It is 1/4. The black represents the missing part of the whole.

1/4 Pie.
Geometry may seem like a enormous step, But it is some what like fractions! well, It uses shapes.
For example, A 2 dimensional triangle can be used. also, A 3 Dimensional triangle can be used in geometry. In Geometry, there is faces, Edges, And vertices.
Does the word Vertices ring a bell? If you are a bit new to school, it may not. A vertex is a point where two straight lines or rays meet. A ray is where a line with a single end point extends into one direction.

Square: Circle: Triangle:
Vertices: 4 Vertices: 0 Vertices: 3
Sides: 4 Sides: 0 Sides: 3
Edges: 4 Edges: 0 Edges: 3
If you've ever gone to school, And you saw a < Or a >, You have heard someone call it an alligator mouth at least once. less than and greater than are symbols teachers use.
For example, here are some problems that use Greater than or less than:
9<13
7>1
121<1,081
If we had 3 and 9, We could use < and >.
Since the bigger number is on the left in this equation, < would be greater than. The point equals less than.
