Jessie and her aunt Annie were inseparable. They were more than just family; they were best friends.
Jessie is an energetic young college student, who absolutely loves to bake. So much so that whenever she has time, she goes to her aunt's house to decorate cakes. This is their favorite thing to do together, and it always puts them in a good mood.
Lately, however, things have been different...

Aunt Annie, who was usually upbeat and in a good mood, has been gloomy and even baking and decorating cakes doesn't cheer her up anymore.
She had been in a long-term relationship, dating the same person for 8 years. But recently, they broke up, and she hasn't been the same ever since.
Months have passed since the breakup and though she has gotten better, her mood still seems dull.
Bringing us to today.

While out shopping for more ingredients, Jessie had a great idea. A way that she could cheer her Aunt up and hopefully make her happy again.
"Auntie why don't I help you find a new boyfriend" Jessie exclaims!
Annie almost spits out her drink she is so surprised!
"Jessie dear, its not as easy as you think. I haven't been in the dating scene for so long I wouldn't even know where to start."

Seeing her aunt discouraged, Jessie frowns, thinking of a way that she can respond without making her uncomfortable. That's when it finally hit her!
"Auntie, why don't you try online dating? It's super easy, and I can help you set up the profile!"
Annie smiles at Jessie and says, "I don't know if I am ready for a relationship, but thank you."
Jessie understand her aunts position and doesn't push her any more. Heading back home to bake.

While baking, Annie talks about what happened at the store. "Jessie, it has been hard for me ever since the breakup, and I am thankful for your help, but dating apps just seem so intimidating."
Jessie listens as annie shares, thinking carefully about how she should respond.
"I totally get it Aunty, you should take it at your own pace, and I will wait until you are ready. But when you are, just remember I am here to help"
Later that week, Annie calls Jessie over to her house.

Annie thought long and hard about whether she should take on this new challenge or not.
Ultimately, she decided she was ready for a fresh start. Calling Jessie over to help out.
Annie isn't very tech-savvy and has much to learn from her niece. Jessie started slow and showed her Auntie how to make a Facebook and Instagram page, connecting her with friends and teaching her how to navigate the internet.

After a while, Annie got used to the format, and felt that she was ready to form a dating profile.
Jessie went trough all of the questions, and helped Annie pick out pictures for her profile.
What felt like hours passed, but finally, they finished the account, and all that was left was for Jessie to leave and for Annie to start her search.

Annie went onto her phone and logged into the app like Jessie had shown her.
She was nervous but began swiping.
Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right,
Until... Ding!
She got a match.
