This story is dedicated to all the children learning to love reading, to every family that fills the world with love and joy, and to the teachers who make each day brighter. May we always remember that every family is special, and that kindness and togetherness make the best celebrations.

Monday Morning
It is a sunny Monday. In Classroom 2B, the kids are excited. They are talking about something special.
Tim, a boy with curly hair and blue glasses, raises his hand. “Miss, when is the Christmas party?” he asks.
Miss Smith, their nice teacher, smiles. “It is on Friday, Tim!” she says.
They all sing:
“Yesterday was Sunday,
Today is Monday,
Tomorrow will be Tuesday!”
Everyone claps. They can’t wait for Friday!
Tuesday Morning
It is Tuesday. The classroom is bright. Emily, a girl with red hair in pigtails, raises her hand. “Miss, when is the Christmas party?” she asks.
Miss Smith smiles. “It is on Friday, Emily!” she says. The kids are very excited.
They sing again:
“Yesterday was Monday,
Today is Tuesday,
Tomorrow will be Wednesday!”
They cheer! They are counting the days!
Wednesday Morning
It is Wednesday. The classroom smells nice. Ollie, a boy who loves to draw, raises his hand. “Miss, when is the Christmas party?” he asks.
Miss Smith laughs. “It is on Friday, Ollie!” she says. Everyone giggles.
They sing again:
“Yesterday was Tuesday,

Tomorrow will be Thursday!”
They can’t wait!
