average day in the neighboorhood

Kim Read was just a normal girl in a small town.

Her town felt abandoned, Yet there were still people there... somehow.

She was happy all day, Everyday. No matter what happened.

She didn't care about problems, she would solve them.

She always wanted to be a super hero, But she was old enough to know super hero's were not real. She was thinking she could be an artist when she grew up, But she especially wanted to be a super hero.

She was walking around the neighborhood, when all of a sudden, A bike came flying at her! Luckily, her fast reaction skills saved her. "where did- What?" She yelled to herself.

Her parents saw it, And came rushing to her. "Are you okay?" Her mom asked her. Kim nodded, and went on with her day.

Kim did get a small little cut, But put a bandage on it.

It was on her knee, and it was annoying. Every time she walked, the bandage would look like it came loose. She tried limping, But she almost fell over.

She was a bit startled, So she just sat down and played with toys. Later, she watched some cartoons.

She got a bit bored, So she went to grab some papers.

The papers were in the arts and crafts bin, And she got some.

While she was drawing, she knocked over a vase.

She panicked, and cleaned the water... But something was weird!

When she wiped it, Weird glitter rubbed onto the towel.

"What is this?" She thought. 

She touched it, and she started feeling sick. it had a rubbery

Texture, for an unknown reason.

"Uh, Mom!" Kim yelled. "What do you need?" Her mom asked her.

Her mom came over, cause her mom didn't feel like yelling.

"Okay, This weird glitter gets on the towel!" Kim said.

Her mom said, "I don't see any glitter! Not even on the table!" 

Kim still saw the glitter, and was confused on what her mom said.

Kim shrugged It off, and went back to normal.

Kim later Laid down to get some rest, and she later woke up from her nap. She felt better! "Knew some rest would help," Kim said to herself.

She decided to go to her backyard and ride her bike- When all of a sudden, She randomly back flipped. She felt incredible, But pretzels fell out of her pockets onto the grass!

"W-W-WHAT?!" Kim screamed.

She screamed so loud, the whole neighborhood heard her.

She had superpowers! not exactly the greatest ones-

She couldn't really save the town, But she could find a use for that stick of butter in her fridge.

She went to her parents to tell them she had superpowers.

"GUYS YOU WON'T BELIUEVE THIS!" Kim yelled happily. 

"Jeez, Calm down a bit. What is it?" Her dad asked Kim.

Kim jumped a bunch, and said, "I HAVE. SUPERPOWERS!!!!"

Her parents laughed, and didn't believe her.

"Sure you do!" Her mom said.
"But- I really do!" Kim replied. Kim tried to explain how she had superpowers, but her parents just laughed at her explanations.

"Okay, Okay, We believe you now-" Her dad said.

"You better!" Kim said angrily. Kim then skipped away, happy!

Then, Kim looked at the news.

Chad was in a war with Turkey, and Kim was devastated.

Kim's friend was in Chad, Her best friend, to be exact. Kim was determined to stop this war, but how would she even do that? She didn't know, but she would try.
