Listen, if you think you have a chance at being a hero, IF your a villian. Your wrong! In fact close this book right now. You dont wanna know what happens if you try.

Anyways, im Alexandrea, but my parents used to call me Alex. I bet your probably wondering what happened to them, well, they were villians. 

 And the heros kill3d them. They took EVERYTHING from me, so never trust a hero.So Our world is filled with Heros, Villians, and Humans, and one more that our world had no clue about. And even i didnt until a couple weeks ago. Anyways i was in the adoption center, btw im 14. And the HEROS "wanted" to adopt me. And i actually trusted them, believe it or not. But it was a BIG mistake. I'll show you why.

    Chapter 1: The first step.

So lets take it from the top. This was 3 years ago by the way. FLASHBACK......

I was sitting in the adoption center  wondering if i was ever gonna get adopted. "Were here to adopt" i heard from the doorway, but i kept reading my book without bothering to look. "Alex! someones here to adopt!" One of the kids said

someones here to adopt!" One of the kids said. "Don't get your hopes up" i replied. "But look! Their heroes!" He said with excitement. Then the heroes walked in the room, and I just kept reading not even acknowledging their existence. " Hi" one of them said, "what's your name?" she said. "I'm Alex" I replied, "What's yours?" I asked. "I'm Scarlett, and that's ray" she said. "Hi" what must of been ray said. 

Then they left to go talk to other kids. The next thing i knew i was getting called to the front. Apparently they wanted to adopt me. I really didn't believe it  but went along with it. "Would you like to go with them?" The front desk lady asked. "Sure" i replied. Next thing i knew i was going to pack up my stuff, which consisted of, a pic of me and my parents, a stuffed animal, my book, and my iPod. 

The other kids seemed really bummed out that they weren't getting adopted by heroes. I mean to be honest i wasn't thrilled that i was, but its better than another year in the adoption center i guess. But i put all my stuff in my bag and went downstairs. They loaded my backpack in thier SUPER futeristic car, and left. I waved at the kids on  my way out and hopped in the car, and we left. I looked up at the city buildings as we rode by. Hopefully this would be good.

Chapter 2: The Second Step

I picked up a piece of paper with tons of words on it, i tried to read it but i couldn't.  "What's this?" i asked. "NOTHING...!" Scarlett said sounding panicked and nervous as she yanked it out of my hand. "Were here." Ray said as we pulled into a large parking lot. The house was huge, and really futeristic, as you would expect. 

But when we walked in there were more people.

"Alex, this is our mom and dad" Ray said. "Hello" They said. "Would you like me to show you to your room?" scarlett said. "Sure" i replied. And she led me up three flights of stairs. "Right here" she said "And im so sorry" she said as i walked through the door. Next thing i knew she had locked the door. 

"NO!!!! PLEASE LET ME OUT!!!!" i screamed! "Im so sorry, we just cant have you saving the world" she said. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!" I cried! "You'll understand one day" she said and then she walked away. Then i cried on my bed and fell asleep for hours, i just wish my parents were here with me.
