This is Nya
This is Nya

When Nya entered Kindergarten, she was very shy and didn’t talk much to her classmates.

Even though Nya was quiet, her teacher was able to recognize her reading ability.
So, Nya’s teacher signed her up for reading lessons with two other teachers.

A few times a week, Nya would be pulled out of class by Mrs. Harvel and Mrs. Whitten.
Can we see Nya for a moment, please?

Mrs. Whitten and Mrs. Harvel would take Nya to different classroom, and they would read books together.
Nya, today we are reading "Are You My Mother?" by P.D. Eastman.

After months of reading sessions, Nya was able to read books by herself. She no longer needed Mrs. Whitten or Mrs. Harvel's help reading books.

Since Nya no longer needed help to read, she was given permission to go to the library and check out books. This is where Nya's love for reading began to grow.

The library became Nya's favorite place in the world. Almost every day, Nya would be seen in the library to getting new books to read.

Nya would immediately start reading her books whenever she had the chance to.
