A bully is someone that is mean to you or someone else for a long period of time like every day. They do mean things and hurt people's feelings.They do not care about anything but themselves. They alway try to make themselves look good to impress people.

Step 1: How to figure out if someone is a bully.
Say you saw someone go to someone else and started being mean to them and you saw that person do it every day over and over again and would not stop. That is being a bully. A bully does different things to be considered a bully. Try your best to stay away from them and do not make eye contact.

Step 2: Reactions
Some of the reactions you have when you are being bullied are you are scared, ashamed, embarrassed, and nervous. Lots of people feel this way when they are being bullied. Some people are scared to tell someone in charge to help them. They think that if they told someone they trust the person that is bullying them will get them back for getting them in trouble.

Step 3: prevention
If someone you know is a bully and is coming toward you, walk away. Make sure you stay away from his or her friends. Make sure your friends and people you care about stay away so they won't get bullied. So if you all stay away, you could prevent the bully from bullying.
