Guess the next step activity was implemented during the Romania Mobility on 24.10.2024. 3 students and 2 teachers joined from each partner schools from Poland,Romania and Portugal,Türkiye
(Atayurt Ortaokulu and Kartepe AIHL).
Şerife Ünal Seyran (Türkiye) and Benjamim Sampaio (Portugal) have presented the activity. Students inside the international teams with mentor teachers have joined activity and tried to improve their critical thinking collaboratively on a real case from Turkish media and a news from Portuguese media.International teams:

27 participants have joined to activity and survey. 8 were teachers; There were 11 students in the age group 13; 3 students in the age of 14; 4 students in the age of 15 and 1 student in the age of 15. They all were in the target group.

They attended the activity inside international teams: Team 1 (facebook) Team 2 (Whatsapp) Team 3 (Instagram) Team 4 (Tik Tok)

17 of 27 participants felt themselves very good to be part of team work; 6 of them felt good; 6 of the felt so so and 2 of them felt bad to be part of their team.Majority of them liked being a part of team

All of the participants are social media users.

16 of participants have followers between 0-100; 5 of them have between 100-500 followers; 5 of the have 500-1000 followers and 1 of the has more than 1000 followers.

5/27 can trust online friends totally; 19/27 are careful to trust their online friends; 5 of them are more careful social media users.

92,6% of the are thinking that social media both safe and dangerous; Only 7,4% of them are thinking that social media is dangerous.

17/27 sometimes share their photos with online friends; 9/27 never shares photos with online friends; 1/27 always share photos with online friends.
So 18/27 are inside our target group need to learn esafety rules

22 of them are conscious social media users but 7 of them need to learn how to be conscious social media user.
About the Portuguese news based on fake news awareness: 26/27 participants have learned how to start critical thinking on any news on social media. So we can say Guess the next step workshop has reached its targets on the level of participants
