Once upon a time there was a girl who loved her life in her small town.

One day, she was eating dinner when she realized her hands and feet were feeling numb and her vision was turning a little blurry.

She thought something was wrong, so she decided to travel to the hospital to see what was wrong.

She met the doctor and they told her that they needed to run some tests.

After the tests, the doctor found out that Sally's pancreas was not creating enough insulin for her body. That was making her blood sugar too high.

A pancreas is an organ in your body that converts your food into insulin for energy!

The doctor told Sally this and informed her about the different types of diabetes, and which one she has.

Type 1 and 2 are not curable but type 2 is easier to control!

You have type 2 diabetes

Sally went back home and learned how to control her diabetes! 

Yay!!!

Now she lives happily ever after in her small town!
