Once upon a time there was a very strong and fast boy named Ali who lived in the Arabian desert in the year 560.

There the sun was always beating down on you in the day, and in the night, the temperature plummeted to freezing. Ali was always either sweating or freezing and he was always working in his family’s field and tending to their crops and livestock. 

Ali was fine doing this but, what he really wanted to do was move to the big city Mecca. But when his family looked into moving it was too expensive to buy the house and pay to travel.

Ali was really sad, so he suggested ideas to his mom and dad on how to make money. The idea that Ali and his parents agreed on was to go around to people's land and tend to their crops and livestock to make money. Then the next day they went around to find someone to work for.
