It all started on one sad, sad day. A baby girl
was born but her mother could not keep her.
The baby girl and her loving mother ran away
to the forest where, in hope, the child would
be taken care of by the enchanted creatures
who lived in the forest.

As the baby girl was placed on the ground. With tears streaming down
her face in the moonlight, the mother whispered "Anastasia" and ran way.
Three fairies were flying up high in the branches. They were so sad because
the mother had just left her helpless baby girl on the floor of the forest. The
Three Fairies, Wanda, Glider and Crystal, fluttered down the the baby and
dragged her inside.

Anastasia's life was as a child was like any other. She had to work,
learn and she got to play from time to time. There was only one
difference, Anastasia had to lean to use magic as a mortal. If she
could learn to do that, Anastasia would be safe.

As Anastasia got older,
she became more
beautiful. More
mysterious.
More enchanted.
More her. By
using magic,
she got to create
her life in an image
that only she dreamed
of. It was a way to
express her feelings in
the most magical way
possible.

In the midst of the moonlight, after 16
years, Anastasia sets out for a walk in
the forest. The fairies watch closely.
If anything happened to Anastasia
before midnight, then Anastasia's
mother would be sad. Anastasia's
mother left her daughter on the
midnight she was born. The baby was
left with a note that read 'I shall return
on the midnight when Anastasia is 16'
Since Anastasia was full of magic, if
something bad happened to her, she
might die.

For a split second, the fairies turned away to greet Anastasia's mother.
Something tripped Anastasia and then the girl fell. Her mother came
rushing. Tears streaming down her face. Then something odd
happened...

Anastasia had faded away!

A giant pool of white nothingness surrounded Anastasia. As myths and fairy tale
legends went, any magical mortal who got hurt before the midnight on their 16th
birthday would die. Instead of this,
Anastasia gained wings on her back.
She cried happily but then noticed,
she couldn't get out! She tried
using spells, she tried to break
out. It was no use. Then
she touched her wings
and realized that she
hadn't tried to fly out
yet! Anastasia tried to
fly out but she didn't
know how to fly!

Anastasia tried and tried to learn how to
fly but it was no use! She kept falling
down! Finally, she was flying high enough
that she reached a door! Anastasia tried her
hardest to get through to the other side of the
door. When she walked out of the door, something
was not quite right.
