Once upon a time there were five mermaids. Emily, Martha, Seth, Paul, and Olivia. They were under the ocean swimming to the palace and talking about going up to the surface.

"So did you ask our father if we can go up to the surface?" Paul asked.

"I tried but I wish he would listen," Olivia answered.

"Don't worry I am sure he will," assured Emily.

"Has anyone seen DJ... never mined," shouted Martha.

"She," said DJ

But they never really listened to their father much because they were curious about the world and what they were missing. So at bedtime they decided to make a meeting in the coral field so they can decide if they should disobey or obey but because of this is that they were born to be curious.

"I think we should go up to the surface and come back an hour later,"Emily suggested.

"It's just you don't know how much trouble we could get in to," Paul said.

"That's right!" Seth shouted.

But they thought a better way to do this is to go to the evil witch named Sara the sea octopus. So that very night they sneaked out of there bed and headed to her palace, but some of them weren't happy on the way there. 

"Hey, I hate this more than all of you do now keep going forward!" Olivia yelled.

"I wish we didn't have to do this,"Emily declared.

Once they got to Sara's house they where blocked by swarms of seaweeds, but Sara saved them and led them inside.And non of them said a word.

"Welcome to my home right this way please," Sara flinched.
