
There was a dog on the beach.
Once upon a time in the village of Grammar Grove, there lived two magical friends: Zara Zero and Felicity First. They were guardians of a special book called The Magic Rulebook of If. This book taught everyone in the village how to make promises, predictions, and understand the rules of life.





One sunny morning, Zara Zero and Felicity First met in the meadow. Felicity was holding a strange golden key.
“Zara,” Felicity said, “the Magic Rulebook is missing some pages! If we don’t find them, the villagers won’t know how to make sense of their ‘if’ sentences!”
Zara nodded. “Let’s find those pages and teach everyone what they say!”
The first page was stuck in the hollow of a tree. Zara gently pulled it out, and words began to glow:
“Use me when things are always true. I explain facts and rules of the world.”
“Like what?” Felicity asked.





Zara thought for a moment. “For example:






“Ah,” Felicity said, “that’s so simple! You’re telling people about things that always happen. It’s like saying the truth!”
Zara nodded. “Exactly. If something is always true, I use Zero Conditional.”
The page shimmered and flew into the book.
