Blaise Pascal was born in Clermon-Ferrand, France on June 19,1623. His father’s names would be Étienne Pascal and his mother is Antoinette Begon.

As a young man Blaise showed extraordinary intellectual ability and amazingly mathematically inclined. 

Being he is the only son of his father’s four children. Him and his father were very close. Seeing that his mother passed away at the age of three in 1962. He was home-schooled which made him an introvert. 

By the age of 16 he was considered a child prodigy. He even developed “Pascal’s Theorem” which is an invention of the early mechanical calculator. 

Pascal was a brilliant writer. His catalog of books he has written and published is over an astonishing 1200. He is most famous for the one named Pensées.
