One day Bella and her human, Alyssa, were playing fetch. "Are you ready Bella?!?", exclaimed Alyssa as she prepared to throw the ball.
Bella jumped around excitedly as she waited to take off after the ball. "YES, YES, YES", barked Bella loudly. Alyssa then chucked the ball as hard as she could, Bella ran super fast.
"Go Bella, Go!!", shouted Alyssa as she watched her puppy playfully retrieve the ball and come right back to her.

Are you ready Bella?!?
YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!

The next day, Bella helped Alyssa get ready for school. They did everything together.
"Does this shirt look cute Bella?", Alyssa asked. Bella barked back, "YES, YES". Knowing she had Bellas' very important approval she wore the shirt proudly and went to show her outfit off to her parents.
"Look mom", exclaimed Aylssa, "Bella helped me get ready again, isn´t this outfit awesome?!" Alyssa´s parents responded, "Yes honey, we love it!"

Yes honey, we love it!
Look mom!
As Bella then walked Alyssa up to the bus, her parents waved goodbye. "Have a great day sweetheart!" , said her parents.
Bella barked as the bus drove away. She knew she shouldn´t chase the bus, mom and dad had already told her many times before not to. But she just missed Alyssa so much.
So as soon as mom and dad closed the door, there was her chance. Bella took off, "I´m going to catch that bus", she thought to herself.

I´m going to catch that bus
Have a great day sweetheart!!!

"Run, run, run", thought Bella, "I must make sure Alyssa is protected."
Alyssa then saw her little puppy tiredly chasing after the bus. "STOP, STOP, STOP THE BUS", shouted Alyssa. But the bus driver could not hear her over all the noise made by the other kids.
Bella tried her hardest to move her tiny little legs as fast as possible but she just couldn´t keep up.

Run, Run, Run!! I must make sure Alyssa is protected.

STOP, STOP, STOP THE BUS!!!!!!!
Bella had no idea where she was. She felt sad and alone. Bella recognized these feelings but knew she had to act quickly. How would she find her home again?
Bella thought to herself, "Maybe I could just re-trace mysteps." But as she looked behind her, there were no paw prints to be found!! What would she do now? Which way did she come from?

Maybe I could just re-trace my steps?!

Bella knew she had to make a plan and quick! What if it gets dark soon? What about animal control?
She started off by getting out from the middle of the road and safely into the grass. "Phewwwww", Bella thought, ¨All those cars were scary!¨.
"What do I do now?", the lonely puppy thought.

Phewwwww, all those cars were scary!!
