Once there was a little dog named Dexter.

    He had three humans that he named Lucy, Bob, and Anna. In his house, he lived with the humans and trained them to take him outside and feed him their scraps. In fact, he was so good at training that every night he had them bow down and leave him offerings of juicy chicken. The humans were so obedient that he received gifts of kibble each morning and every night. 

Hey, Dexter! You are so great at training, why don't you come and train my humans to buy me toys?

Soon the other dogs wanted Dexter to train THEIR humans. But Dexter wasn't so sure. He had to stay home and make sure his humans didn't chew up pillows or wreck the house.

 His friend, Oliver, had kindly asked him  to train his humans, but Dexter just couldn't say yes.

    He decided to go for a walk and clear his mind. As Dexter walked, he noticed that he was far from home. The trees were  unfamiliar. And the path was bending away from the road he was used to taking.

Dexter's thoughts began to wander. Before he knew it, Dexter was in a strange city.
