Scorpions are creatures part
of the arachnid family which have pincers like crabs and a
long tail-like stomach with a venomous and usually fatal
stinger at the end.

Scorpions are also usually found in
warm regions such as deserts or
even jungles since they are cold-blooded creatures.

Scorpions have 8 legs just
like spiders, this is most likely
the reason how they are
arachnids, though their legs
aren't quite used for anything
special other than to walk.

One thing you may know about these
arachnids is that they are mostly active
during the night hunting for smaller insects like crickets to snack on.

When mother scorpions give
birth, the babies climb onto
her back for safety.
The mother will crawl away
from any insects that may
try harming them.

Like other bugs and animals,
scorpions come in many variants,
this type of scorpion shown is the
"Emperor Scorpion"

This scorpion is called the "Deathstalker scorpion" and is found
in the Middle East and North
Africa.

This variant is called the "Giant hairy scorpion" and is found in the deserts of
the Southwestern United States, including
Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.
