The Flathead Tribe
-The Flathead Tribe, also known as the Salish, originally lived in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana.
- They practiced a spiritual tradition centered on the natural world, with a deep respect for animals, plants, and the land. They often sought guidance through visions and ceremonies.
- The Salish people relied on a mix of hunting, fishing, and gathering, with bison being a central part of their diet and culture.
- In 1855, Teh HElgate Treaty forced them to move to the Flathead Indian Reservation, though some remained in the Bitterroot valley

Before the creation of our universe, there was a vast emptiness of space. In this void existed a great civilization—a utopia where peace, harmony, and order reigned. Conflict, anger, greed, and jealousy were unknown, and the people lived in perfect unity. Among them was a young girl named Nebula, a dreamer, unlike the rest. While her people found comfort in routine, Nebula gazed at the towering pillars surrounding their world and asked, “What lies beyond?”
“There is nothing beyond,” her father would say, his voice steady with certainty. “Everything we need is here.” But Nebula couldn’t accept that answer. One day, her curiosity led her to venture beyond the pillars. In the vast emptiness, she met another girl named Nova. “Who are you?” Nebula asked, startled to find someone else beyond the walls. “I’m Nova,” the girl said with a warm smile. “And I’ve been wondering the same thing you have—what’s out there?”
The two quickly became inseparable, their shared curiosity igniting a dream to explore the unknown. “Let’s uncover the mysteries of the cosmos,” Nova said, and Nebula agreed. But before their journey could begin, chaos erupted within their perfect society. The Wise One, the revered creator of their utopia, made an announcement:
“I have lost something precious,” he declared. “Whoever finds it will become the next Wise One.”
The announcement shattered civilization’s peaceful order. Once content, the people abandon their routines to search for the lost item. Amid the chaos, two figures rose to prominence: Orbit and Comet.
Orbit, a compassionate leader, called for unity and exploration. “We must work together to rebuild what we’ve lost,” he urged his followers. “Our future lies in understanding the wonders beyond.”
Comet, however, sought power and control. “The Wise One’s item will belong to those strong enough to take it,” he declared. “Join me, and I will make you rulers of the new world.” Nebula and Nova watched as the conflict escalated into war. Nebula’s family, fearing for their safety, fled to Orbit’s territory, known for its relative peace. “Nova,” Nebula said one night as they packed their belongings, “I’ve never met your parents. Why is that?” Nova hesitated. “It’s… complicated,” she said softly. “I’ll tell you when the time is right.”
